This policy explains what Petpilo processes when you use the website, calculators, sharing controls, analytics or advertising. The exact third-party services on a published site depend on the operator’s configuration.
Who operates this website
Petpilo is operated by the site owner. For privacy questions or requests, contact thekirudi@gmail.com. The site owner should keep this address monitored and update it if the contact details change.
Where these numbers come from
Breed cost sketches start from published US planning categories on the ASPCA site and the US accident-and-illness premium average published by NAPHIA. Petpilo adjusts those published lines for later prices, size, and coat. A sketch is not a quote from a clinic, shelter, breeder, or insurer. The calculators use the prices you type.
These figures are a planning aid. They are not veterinary, insurance, or financial advice. Check care and prices with a veterinarian and with local providers before you rely on a number.
Calculator entries and pet names
Calculations run in your browser. By default, the amounts you type into a calculator are used to calculate and display your estimate on your device; this website code does not send those entered costs to a Petpilo account or database. The site does not require an account.
Pet name is optional. It is used only to label the result on screen and, if you choose Share result, may be included in the text passed to your device’s share sheet or clipboard. The receiving app or person is governed by its own privacy practices. Do not include information you do not want to share.
Preferences stored on your device
Petpilo uses browser local storage to remember your optional-service choice. That choice stays in that browser on that device until you clear its site data. It is not used to create a Petpilo account profile. The consent choice records whether you chose essential-only or optional services.
Hosting and technical request data
When your browser requests a page, the web host and network providers may process technical information such as an IP address, request time, browser or device details, and requested page to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the website. Petpilo is a static website and does not provide a Petpilo login or calculator database. Hosting-provider logs and retention are controlled by the hosting provider and its terms.
Optional analytics
If the site owner configures Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager, the scripts are loaded only after you select “Allow optional” in the privacy choices shown by this version of the site. If enabled, Petpilo may send limited usage events such as calculator type, result-share action and article view. Calculator amounts and pet names are not included in those event parameters by the site code. Google may process identifiers and usage information under its own terms and settings.
Advertising and third-party vendors
Advertising is displayed only if the site owner enables it and supplies advertising identifiers. If Google AdSense or another ad service is enabled, that provider and participating vendors may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses or similar browser/device identifiers to deliver, measure or personalize advertisements. Depending on the service and your settings, ads may be based on this or other sites you have visited. Ad content and linked products are supplied by third parties; an advertisement does not mean Petpilo recommends or guarantees the advertiser.
You can manage Google advertising personalization in Google’s ad settings. Some third-party vendors provide additional opt-outs. Availability and effect of these controls depend on the vendor, browser and location.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can choose “Essential only” or “Allow optional” in the privacy banner. Use the “Privacy settings” control in the footer to reopen it and change your choice. You can also clear Petpilo’s local storage and cookies through your browser settings; doing so may reset country, currency and consent preferences. Browser controls can block cookies or local storage, although some preferences may then not be retained.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection for personal data processed by a provider. Contact thekirudi@gmail.com with a request and enough detail for the operator to respond. Requests about data held by Google, Hostinger or another provider may need to be made directly to that provider.
Children and sensitive information
Petpilo is a general-audience information website and does not ask visitors to submit personal or veterinary records. Please do not enter a person’s sensitive information into a calculator field. If you believe a child has sent personal information to the site operator, contact thekirudi@gmail.com so the operator can review the request.
Third-party sites and international processing
Petpilo links to external sources for further reading. Those sites have their own privacy policies and are not controlled by Petpilo. Hosting, analytics and advertising providers may process information in countries where they or their service partners operate, subject to their own terms and applicable law.
Security, changes and contact
The site owner takes reasonable steps to keep site configuration and service access secure, but no internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
